7.2 Prep Post

Okay, so I'm not officially done with this site just yet. Gonna get quick and dirty with this (hopefully) last post, in order to get your minds squared up and ready for 7.2 (releasing Tuesday, much earlier than anticipated). Not much in the way of explaining, as I'm doing that for the Peak of Serenity site, releasing in a week or so.

Packing Up and Moving

Posts here have been sparse for a while, as I've been getting math done for 7.2 (especially with it being in a release build). However, I'll be moving all future posts to http://www.peakofserenity.com/, and will no longer be maintaining this site. I've already transferred my more popular posts over to Peak of Serenity (as well as some new ones), and will continue doing Mistweaver Theorycrafting, along with high end Mistweaver players and other TCers.

Teachings of the Red Crane - Mistweaver Spreadsheet

It's been a while since I've posted anything substantial here (aside from updating the Melee Immunity post), and for good reason. I've been hard at work building a spreadsheet to answer a lot of questions asked in the Monk discord (link to the side). Now, this spreadsheet is fairly comprehensive, predominately answering all gearing questions you may have.

7.2 PTR Changes

7.2 is looking to shake up the core of how Mistweaver plays. Final numbers aren’t known, as we're in a cycle of PTR builds being released weekly, and some of the key components to the playstyle switch are not yet implemented for testing. A post (or maybe even a video) will be released closer to 7.2’s launch on everything that needs to be done to get character progression going again, but for now, let’s look at some of the Mistweaver specific changes either hinted at or datamined.

Patch 7.1.5 for Mistweaver

Patch 7.1.5 is upon us! It's chock full of delayed events, from the micro-holidays to the Mistweaver Timewalking weekly event being added to the weekly rotation. The rest of the new year is sure to be full of fun, outside of raiding, of course. However, we're here today to discuss the tweaks to our class.

7.1 Mistweaver Changes; the Single Target Build

7.1 is looming in front of us, with a revamped Karazhan, more Suramar quests, a new raid, but most importantly, spell tweaks!
